The countdown to the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2025 is underway, and with it, the excitement to learn more about Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is building. However, it seems that Activision has inadvertently leaked some information, by mistakenly posting a short trailer of the game on social media.
Although it’s not the full trailer, this sneak peek allows us to glimpse some sequences that could belong to the single-player campaign or Zombies mode.
Brief teaser leaked, confirming a longer wait this year
In this brief clip, we can see surreal scenarios, with giant characters attacking the player, as well as more traditional scenes showcasing the instruments provided to David Mason and his companions. One of the most notable aspects is the ability to use a jet-pack to perform significant jumps. The final part of the video is, however, the most revealing, as the final screen confirms the contents of the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 strongbox edition.
Among the information presented on the screen is a reference to the Early Access Beta and, more importantly, the game’s release date, which, according to fan expectations, is set for November 14, 2025. This means a delay compared to the release of previous chapters.
