Konami celebrates 30 years of eFootball with epic cards and global events

Konami has launched a major campaign within eFootball to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the historic football saga that began as Winning Eleven (also known as PES) in 1995. This celebration includes special events, exclusive rewards, and the return of football legends as part of a series of temporary activities now available on all platforms.

Under the name of Nostalgia campaign, players will be able to enjoy challenges inspired by the origins of the franchise until July 10, in addition to accessing limited commemorative content and classic footballer cards. All of this will culminate in a live event in Tokyo that will be broadcast worldwide in several languages.

From today, eFootball users can access a series of themed content that pays tribute to the golden era of the saga. These are the main proposals included:

• Time Attack Event: a time-attack mode with classic polygonal models to win special rewards while reviving the retro style.

• Epic limited cards: Adriano, Roberto Baggio, and Gerard Piqué return as legendary players available for a limited time.

• Big Time: 30th Anniversary Chance Deals: special deals to get commemorative rare cards.

• Daily login bonuses: coins, EXP, training programs, and an exclusive 30th-anniversary badge.

In addition, Konami will organize the eFootball World Festival on July 21 at the Belle Salle Shibuya Garden in Tokyo, where two central events will be held:

• eFootball Series 30th Anniversary Special Event: with special guests, new licenses, and announcements related to the future of the franchise.

• eFootball Championship 2025 World Finals: the global final of the competitive circuit with 32 players — divided between consoles and mobile — fighting for the title.

The entire celebration will be broadcast live in nine languages, allowing fans from all over the world to follow the event. The Nostalgia campaign not only serves as a tribute to the saga’s trajectory but also as a great opportunity to relive the past with modern mechanics and content.
