If you’re having trouble launching games or apps on Xbox, it’s not on you. Xbox has confirmed that there’s a widespread issue affecting part of the community, and it’s already under investigation.
The company has announced that some players can’t start games or apps, regardless of the console or content, and has asked for patience while they work on a solution.
A recognized problem by Xbox, currently being resolved
Through official channels, Xbox has confirmed that the error isn’t related to accounts, licenses, or local console issues, so reinstalling games, restoring the console, or changing settings won’t help for now.
While the issue is being resolved, Xbox recommends following the status updates through their official support and service status channels, where information will be updated as the solution progresses.
For now, all we can do is wait. If you can’t play or open apps, you’re not alone, and it seems that access will be restored progressively once the technical team completes the necessary adjustments.
We are aware that some players are unable to launch games and apps. Thank you for your patience while we address this issue. For updates, please follow along here or at https://t.co/SoIhwJAdqC.
