The renowned Japanese Muay Thai champion was one of the three selectable fighters in the first Fatal Fury of 1991, his other two companions were none other than the Bogard brothers, Terry and Andy. The wolves have returned, now officially

The last time players could see Joe Higashi in a Fatal Fury was in 1999 with the release of Wild Ambition, and although in City of the Wolves he was represented by his student, the scientist Preecha, many felt it wasn’t the same.

This relationship between master and student will be the protagonist of the RPG part of Joe’s story (Episodes of South Town) within the title, although the character will also be available within the other game modes. Higashi is the third of the characters in this first season of the production to which Andy Bogard and Ken Masters from Street Fighter have already joined, and which will be followed by Chun Li and Mister Big.
