It’s been less than 24 hours since Battlefield 6 opened its pre-order, and it’s already secured the top spot in the global sales ranking on Steam. The new installment of the iconic first-person action saga has burst onto the Valve platform, surpassing titles like Grounded 2 and Ready or Not.

The game, developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts, is set to release on October 10th for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC. Its official reveal has generated huge excitement, particularly due to its more classic approach, massive multiplayer battles, and a revamped destruction system in urban environments.

Battlefield 6 Leads Steam from the Start

Battlefield 6 has become the best-selling product globally on Steam just hours after its pre-order went live. The community’s interest has been immediate, and all signs point to it being one of the most powerful releases of the year.

Alongside it, other notable games like Grounded 2 and Ready or Not round out the top spots, but the new Battlefield is setting the pace from the get-go. Its multiplayer will once again offer large-scale battles, vehicles, customizable classes, and a tone more focused on modern conflict.
