February is coming to an end, and with it, a long-announced goodbye is approaching. Project CARS 3 will permanently shut down its online servers on February 24, 2026, meaning that all connected features will be unavailable in just 24 hours.
The decision was officially announced in August 2025, coinciding with the game’s removal from digital stores. Since then, the calendar hasn’t changed, but now the moment is imminent: those who want to bid farewell to its multiplayer aspect have a very narrow window.
Project CARS 3’s online mode will cease to function on February 24
Until the last minute of February 24, online races, multiplayer competitions, and any mode dependent on official servers will continue to operate normally. From that date on, online access will be permanently disabled.
The shutdown won’t affect offline content. All single-player modes (individual races, championships, and local progression) will continue to work as long as the game is installed on your console or PC. However, the experience will be limited to the individual sphere.
With the title no longer available for digital purchase since last summer, this definitive shutdown marks the end of its multiplayer era. If you still have it installed and feel like competing in its last online races, it’s now or never.
