Over the past few days, the community has once again been excited about the possibility of seeing a new update on the highly anticipated Rockstar title. Theories have multiplied on social media after several leakers claimed that the studio was about to release its third official trailer, coinciding with the opening of pre-orders. However, the facts do not seem to support this hypothesis, and the dates simply do not add up.
Most rumors pointed to November 8th, but that date falls on a Saturday, and Rockstar has never released new material on a weekend. Additionally, the company’s internal calendar and the movements of its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, point to a different plan.
GTA 6 is likely to have its next trailer in December, not this week
- This Thursday, November 6th, Take-Two will hold its quarterly financial meeting, an event where investors expect to hear news about the current state of the project. It is possible that during the conference, the official release date will be confirmed, scheduled for May 26th, 2026, although some internal sources suggest that the game could be delayed until the end of next year.
In any case, everything indicates that Rockstar will reserve its third trailer for early December, probably before The Game Awards 2025, where the title could be shown to the public again with a new look at its world, characters, and mechanics.
So, for now, it’s time to be patient: there won’t be a trailer this week, but December could bring the most anticipated presentation of the year.
