The next month, a very curious game is coming to Xbox on Xbox Game Pass and I want to share it with you. The game is launching on November 4th, and to be honest, it’s a type of title that caught my attention since its announcement, and it’s not going to get much promotion, but we’re here to remind you that the game is launching in a few days and you should mark the date in red on your calendar.
Let’s take a closer look at the game, 1000XResist, a title that has many interesting things and that I’m eager to dive into on November 4th. The game’s premise seems to mix many things, science fiction, adventure, and the end of the world, undoubtedly very interesting ingredients to grab our attention and share with you.
1000XResist is coming to Xbox Game Pass next week
-
Set a thousand years in the future, after an alien disease that wipes out humanity, leaving only one survivor, Iris, who is immune.
-
Iris founds an underground society made up of her clones, known as “sisters”, while she is revered as the Holomother.
-
The sisters live in isolation in a bunker called The Garden, using masks to protect themselves from the disease and living in constant fear of the “occupants”, alien beings whose arrival brought the infection.
-
The player controls the Analyst, whose function is to revive and interpret the memories of the Holomother through a process called “communion”.
-
There are six sisters with main roles (administration, army, knowledge, engineering, medicine, and cloning), and the Analyst is the only one in charge of exploring the Holomother’s memory.
-
A twist occurs when Mechanics reveals that the Holomother may have lied about her story. After her execution, the Analyst begins the search for the truth.
-
Gameplay combines third-person adventure, visual novel, and first-person exploration with trips to memories and puzzle-solving.
-
It allows exploring both The Garden and the Holomother’s past memories: her life as a teenager, the arrival of the occupants, and the creation of this clone society.
-
The game features full dubbing with over 15,000 lines and an original soundtrack composed by two artists.
-
It draws inspiration from works like NieR:Automata, the anime of Satoshi Kon and Naoko Yamada, as well as theatrical and artistic elements that influence its narrative style and staging.
The game will be available to both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass Premium subscribers, so both can access it from November 4th.
