With the arrival of EA Sports FC 26 just around the corner, many players are eager to know what will happen to their accumulated FC Points in FC 25 (if you have any). The good news is that EA has already explained how to transfer them, although it’s essential to understand the conditions to avoid any surprises.
The first thing you should know is that the transfer cannot be done from the web app or the Companion App. You can only complete it by logging in to FC 26 on your console or PC. When you log in for the first time, a message will appear on the screen with the option to move your Points, and by following the steps, you can synchronize them immediately with your new account in FC 26.
Guide to transfer your FC Points from FC 25 to FC 26
The process is straightforward, but EA has made it clear that you can only transfer FC Points between platforms from the same manufacturer. This means that:
-
From Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S (and vice versa)
-
From PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 (and vice versa)
-
From Xbox to PlayStation
-
From PlayStation to Xbox
Once the transfer is complete, the points are automatically synchronized and will be available on the web app and the Companion App as well. However, the process is irreversible: you won’t be able to move the points back to FC 25.
If you accumulated a balance in FC 25 and want to start the new season of FC 26 with an advantage, make sure to make the transfer within the same console family or on PC. Otherwise, those points will be locked in your previous edition.
