SEGA has recently presented several interesting titles during the Summer Game Fest 2025, including Persona 4 Revival and Stranger than Heaven, edited by Atlus and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, respectively. Although these games have generated great interest, release dates have not been announced yet, which has generated uncertainty among fans of these series.
The new financial report from SEGA provides some clues about the company’s release plans. According to this report, SEGA plans to launch several titles in the fiscal year 2025, including Sonic Racing: Crossworld on September 25 and the new Football Manager for the fall season.
The wait will be long
It is also mentioned that Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army has already been released on June 19 this year. Additionally, “other titles” compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 are announced, although no specific details about these games are provided.
Regarding the fiscal years 2027 and 2028, SEGA plans to launch “several new games from major IPs“, along with games from European IPs and Legacy. Specifically, it is mentioned that Persona 4 Revival and Stranger than Heaven will arrive on the market in or even beyond the fiscal year 2027, although specific release dates have not been announced yet. Since SEGA’s fiscal year 2027 will begin in the calendar year 2026, it is possible that one or both games will be released in the second half of next year.
This information raises questions about the future of other installments, such as Persona 6, which may require players to wait a prolonged period before its release.
Persona and RGG Studio fans, known for the Like a Dragon series, will have to keep waiting to enjoy these new titles.
