PC players who have been waiting years for the sequel to Hollow Knight have just received some fantastic news. Team Cherry has officially confirmed that Silksong will feature native support for ultrawide screens, a highly requested feature from the community.
This feature will be available from launch and will allow players to enjoy the game in resolutions up to 21:9 format, providing a more immersive experience for those with ultrawide monitors. This is a significant visual improvement that will do justice to the detailed artistic style that characterizes the series.
Hollow Knight: Silksong will arrive optimized for PC and Xbox
With this confirmation, it’s clear that Hollow Knight: Silksong will arrive on PC ready to take advantage of the most modern configurations. Ultrawide support adds to the usual performance options, and opens the door to enjoying much wider scenarios, without black bars or scaling.
For now, Team Cherry hasn’t revealed if this feature will also be extended to consoles, although on PC it will be a plus for users who want to experience Hornet’s adventure in all its glory. Silksong launches on September 4, 2025, on Xbox Series, PC, and Cloud, with Day One availability on Xbox Game Pass.
