Christmas is also making an appearance in GTA Online, and this time it’s bringing a small gift for all players. Rockstar has activated a simple promotion that allows you to add an exclusive Christmas hat to your character without completing challenges or participating in special events.

This accessory has a clearly festive aesthetic (red, green base, and a star on top) that can be worn during these dates in Los Santos. The best part is that it doesn’t depend on your progress in the game and is available to the entire community.
How to unlock the Christmas hat for free in GTA Online
To get this hat, you don’t need to enter missions or complete objectives within the game. Rockstar is giving it away to all players who subscribe to their official newsletter from the Rockstar Games Social Club website.
- The process is very simple: log in with your Rockstar account, go to the settings section, and locate the “Rockstar Games Mailing List” option. From there, click on “Sign up now” and confirm your subscription. Once you’ve done this, the hat will be automatically added to your account and will appear in GTA Online within a few hours.
