PC players are receiving a new update today, focused on optimization and technical support for portable devices, especially the ROG Xbox Ally X and its original model. This version introduces significant improvements in overall performance, mod management, and game stability, especially on AMD processor-based systems.

New Update Adds Support for ROG Xbox Ally X and Improves PC Performance

• The new Hogwarts Legacy patch arrives with a list of improvements that aim to perfect the PC experience and adapt it to new portable Windows devices. Among the most notable changes is the full support for ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, ensuring optimal game integration with these portable consoles.

Additionally, several errors related to mods have been resolved, including issues with installation, sorting order, loading modified games, or the functioning of the save copy button. A bug that prevented access to the “Load Game” menu from the active mods tab has also been fixed.

Specific Improvements for ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X

• Full compatibility with Xbox and ASUS portable models
  The patch adds official full support for ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, ensuring that the game runs correctly in portable mode, both in native resolution and 16:9 format, with all integrated controls working without the need for manual adjustments.

• Correction of incorrect graphic profiles on portable devices
  Before this patch, some Ally users experienced incorrect graphic profiles or configurations that did not apply well to portable mode. Now, profiles are automatically detected and applied, ensuring a balance between performance and visual quality.

• Performance optimization for AMD hardware (APU Z1 and Z1 Extreme)
  The update includes changes to AMD settings to improve stability and performance on Ryzen Z1 and Z1 Extreme chips, reducing micro-stuttering and FPS drops.

• Improvements in thermal management and energy consumption
  Thanks to profile corrections, the game now reduces energy consumption during long sessions, optimizing battery autonomy and maintaining more stable temperatures.

• Integration with Xbox Game Bar and tactile controls
  The game version is now fully compatible with the tactile panel, joysticks, and integrated controller buttons, as well as direct access to the Game Bar for recording, performance control, and suspend mode.
