We’ve officially entered 2026, a year that promises to be even more powerful in terms of video game releases, especially considering we’re close to the 25th anniversary of the Xbox brand, and Microsoft is preparing many surprises.

The list of confirmed games for the coming months is enormous, and we also expect to see a wave of new content for titles that have been on the market for a while and aim to stay alive thanks to updates, with Helldivers 2 being one of the best examples.

Helldivers 2 kicks off the year with a new content pack

This title was one of the most successful on PS5 and PC platforms a while back, and it was last September that we finally got its release on Xbox Series X/S, achieving another triumphant launch on these consoles.

Helldivers 2 has been non-stop receiving new content, and on January 20th, we’ll get the addition of the “Redacted Regiment Warbond”, a pack that brings new weapons and skins to continue fighting against the insectoid abominations that plague the civilized galaxy, as we can see in the gameplay trailer published below.

Helldivers 2 arrived a few months ago in 2025 and has been another success for the game and the studio, so we expect more novelties and updates to be added in the coming months and to reach all platforms equally, something we’ll be keeping an eye on.
