If you’ve just joined Xbox Game Pass or are thinking of doing so, the next few months could be the best time. From July to October 2025, Microsoft’s service will receive a batch of high-level titles, with direct releases from day one and highly anticipated sagas.
The offer ranges from remakes and sequels to new IPs that promise to impress us with their visual style or gameplay proposal. Some will arrive only on console, while others will be available on PC and in the cloud if you have Game Pass Ultimate.
Upcoming Xbox Game Pass releases for all tastes
Next, we review the most interesting titles that will arrive between July and October to the service, including games for all types of subscribers, whether new or veteran:
July 11 – Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4
PC and console (Game Pass Ultimate) – Day one launch
The legendary skate game returns with a total remastering of the two classic installments. It includes updated graphics, more tricks, improved customization, and new scenarios along with the original iconic levels.
July 23 – Wheel World
Console only – Day one launch
A post-apocalyptic adventure on wheels, with touches of open-world and resource management. Form alliances or face enemy clans while exploring the remains of civilization in your customized vehicle.
July 29 – Grounded 2 (Game Preview)
PC and console (Game Pass Ultimate) – Day one launch
Direct sequel to the successful Grounded, with new biomes, a handcrafted vehicle system, and a revised multiplayer. Return to shrink and survive in a wild garden with more content and options than ever.
August 26 – Gears of War: Reloaded
PC and console (Game Pass Ultimate) – Day one launch
Complete remake of the Xbox classic. This return includes significant visual improvements, gameplay tweaks, and a renewed multiplayer experience, adapted to current standards. Perfect for new players and veterans.
October 17 – Keeper
PC and console (Game Pass Ultimate) – Day one launch
New title from Double Fine where you control a living lighthouse on a remote island. Without dialogue and with a very careful artistic approach, this game mixes puzzles, exploration, and a strong emotional component.
October 21 – Ninja Gaiden 4
PC and console (Game Pass Ultimate)
The most anticipated return of Ryu Hayabusa. Fast action, technical combat, challenging enemies, and a completely new story. It’s not a reboot, but a canonical continuation of Team Ninja’s classic saga.
October 29 – The Outer Worlds 2
PC and console (Game Pass Ultimate)
The acclaimed RPG from Obsidian returns with new planets, more complex morality systems, and decisions that affect the universe. A sarcastic, dense, and exploration-filled space adventure with branching dialogues.
As you can see, the next four months are packed with interesting titles, whether you prefer direct action or more narrative or creative proposals. With day one launches in Game Pass, it’s the ideal time to get the most out of your subscription.
If you’re not subscribed yet, remember that Xbox offers options for console, PC, or Ultimate (with cloud gaming and more benefits). July starts strong… and what’s coming is not far behind.
