After years of rumors and a brutal presentation with the latest trailer, Grand Theft Auto VI is starting to make its presence known on digital platforms. The game’s official page is now available on the Xbox Store, allowing Xbox console users to add it to their wishlist. Although it’s not possible to reserve or buy it yet, this step makes it clear that the release is moving in the expected direction.
In the page, Rockstar confirms its bet on a story set in Vice City and the state of Leonida, following the steps of Jason and Lucia, a couple trapped in a criminal spiral after a failed heist. This description matches what’s been shown in the official trailers, where a darker and more realistic tone is appreciated, with clear influences from social media, contemporary American culture, and explosive action.
Grand Theft Auto VI already has a page on the Xbox Store, although reservations are not available
The game’s arrival on the digital store not only allows users to mark it as desired but also access the two official trailers, game images, and a brief synopsis. As expected, the game is not yet available for purchase or download. Rockstar itself has already announced that GTA 6 will arrive in 2026, specifically on May 26th for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, with no sign of a PC version yet.
The title appears with a provisional PEGI 18 rating, and the store specifies that the content is not available separately, which is usual when the different game editions have not been listed yet. You can check the official page from this direct link to the Xbox Store.
For now, all that’s left is to wait for Rockstar to reveal new information, but the fact that Grand Theft Auto VI already has a presence on the Xbox store is a clear sign: the countdown has begun.
