Ghostface arrives in Fortnite on Halloween

Fortnite will once again bet on terror this Halloween and one of the most striking surprises has already been leaked: Ghostface, the masked killer from Scream, is reportedly on its way to the Epic Games game with its own content.

The clue comes from dataminers, who have found a reference to the “Stalker Knife” in the game’s files, an object directly associated with Ghostface and not with Jason Voorhees, as initially thought. In fact, Jason would have his own exclusive object, a Medallion, according to the same leaked data.

This leak fits with Epic Games’ usual strategy of reinforcing Halloween dates with collaborations linked to horror movies. Ghostface would thus join other legendary killers who have already passed through the battle royale, expanding the collection of iconic skins for these celebrations.

For now, Epic Games has not officially confirmed the collaboration, but with Halloween just around the corner, it’s only a matter of time before the event and related content are announced. What does seem clear is that Ghostface will be one of the main protagonists of the month in Fortnite.
