Let’s leave behind the pale news we had last week regarding layoffs and cancellations and enjoy some new additions to the Xbox catalog that, with so much information, couldn’t be the focus of the scene. Such is the case of these two games that will be an instant hit among classic game enthusiasts in different genres.
This 2025 hasn’t been a good year for rally fans in the world of video games. In April, we told you the sad news of Codemasters abandoning the development of games in this particular subgenre of driving, and they weren’t small names, we’re talking about WRC and Dirt, but not all is bad news because now Xbox Series X/S users have Rally Arcade Classics available, a title that had previously appeared on other platforms and has finally landed on Microsoft’s consoles at full speed and accelerating in every muddy curve.
The title includes a total of 44 iconic cars from the competition in different periods of its history. This way, players can drive high-performance cars from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s on 48 different tracks in various locations around the world. The game is reminiscent of titles like the World Rally Championship by the Spanish company Gaelco, which was a classic in many regions in the mid-90s due to its innovative isometric perspective that gave a variant to the traditional cameras in driving games.

Platformer game enthusiasts also have a good reason to celebrate on their Xbox Series, as Monkey Craft and Bliss Brain bring Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World with the Play Anywhere option enabled, and if that’s not enough. The title is a remake of the classic 90s game Monster World IV and has the particularity that its development team included those who worked on the classic game.
This installment puts players in the role of Asha, a warrior with curious green hair who gets involved in a rather particular incident that could define the survival of her entire world. With the help of her inseparable friend and pet Pepelogoo, they will embark on an action-packed adventure with platforming with a simple mission to understand but very difficult to execute: save the world.
