Dragon Ball FighterZ is more alive than ever. The fighting title from Bandai Namco continues to receive updates, and to celebrate its next big novelty (the arrival of Goku SS4 from Dragon Ball Daima), players can get 14 characters from the hall completely free. This promotion is available on Xbox, PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, although only for a limited time.

The distribution event will be divided into two distinct periods, with exclusive rewards in each one. To get all the characters, simply log in to the game during both phases of the promotion.

Dates to get free Dragon Ball FighterZ characters

Each character is obtained automatically by entering the game and talking to the NPC “Information” in the center of the lobby. There’s no need to complete missions or participate in additional events.

An ideal opportunity before the arrival of Goku SS4 (Daima)

The promotion coincides with the update prior to the release of Goku SS4 (Daima), a highly anticipated character that will arrive as part of the new downloadable content for Dragon Ball FighterZ. This special version of the protagonist will be part of the support plans that Bandai Namco has been maintaining since 2018, along with the patch that improves performance on new consoles.

Additionally, a curious “permanent trick” for Xbox players has been recalled, through which some users can get the digital version of the game for free if they have a friend with the physical or digital copy of Dragon Ball FighterZ on Xbox One or Xbox Series. Although it’s not an error as such, the community has checked that the license is not revoked when applying the internal update process of Series.

Follow these steps

To get the hall characters for free on Xbox, PC, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch, simply follow these steps during the event dates:

1. Log in to the game during one of the two distribution periods:

   • First round: from October 12 to 25, 2025

   • Second round: from October 26 to November 9, 2025

2. Head to the main lobby of the game.

3. Talk to the “Information” character, located in the center of the hall.
   → By doing so, the corresponding reward for the current period will be activated automatically.

4. Repeat the process on both dates to get all 14 characters, since each round offers a different set of fighters.

5. Check your rewards from the lobby customization menu; there, you can see and select the new special characters.

6. Don’t forget to log out and log back in if they don’t appear immediately, because in some cases, the rewards are applied after restarting the game.

7. And remember: this promotion ends on November 9, 2025, at 23:59 (local time). After that date, the characters will no longer be available.
