The retro hardware market is still very much alive, and My Arcade wants to capitalize on this trend with a new family of consoles designed exclusively for classic video game enthusiasts. Under the name of Gamestation Retro, the company is preparing three distinct devices that will arrive throughout 2026, all sharing the same idea: to bring together in one system some of the most iconic arcades from Capcom and Bandai Namco.
The proposal doesn’t limit itself to a single format. My Arcade has designed this line to cater to different types of players, from those looking for something portable to those who want a more traditional arcade experience.
Three distinct models and over 100 included games
The range will consist of the Gamestation Retro Go, Gamestation Retro Pro, and Gamestation Retro Mega, with a combined catalog of over 100 classic games. Among the confirmed titles are recognizable names like Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Pole Position, Street Fighter II, Mega Man, Final Fight, and 1942, all included as standard.
- The Gamestation Retro Go is the portable option. It features an 8-inch screen, rechargeable battery, and a design meant for playing anywhere, with a suggested price of $199.99 in the United States.
- The Gamestation Retro Pro is designed for the living room. It offers 1080p HDMI output and includes two wireless controllers, positioning itself as the most affordable option in the family with a price of $149.99.
- Lastly, the Gamestation Retro Mega is aimed directly at arcade nostalgia, with a 10.1-inch screen, mechanical joystick, and a wooden finish reminiscent of classic machines. Its recommended price will be $299.99.
In addition, My Arcade will release compatible accessories like an additional gamepad and an arcade stick, expanding control options for any of the models. With this new line, My Arcade reinforces its commitment to licensed retro gaming and makes it clear that 2026 will be an especially interesting year for those who still enjoy classic games on dedicated hardware.
