Playground Games has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will feature cross-save and full cross-play from launch. This will allow players to keep their progress (cars, events, stats, and garage) intact when switching platforms, as long as they use the same account.

Additionally, multiplayer will have no barriers: all players will be able to compete together, regardless of where they’re playing. This makes it easier to meet up with friends, participate in online events, and get the most out of the game’s cooperative and competitive modes.

This feature fits with the project’s overall ambition, which aims to offer the most extensive Horizon experience to date. Set in a reimagined Japan, the map combines large urban areas with mountain roads, rural areas, and unprecedented verticality in the series, all designed for more varied and dynamic racing.

Alongside these technical innovations, the progression system is also evolving with mechanics like the Collection Diary and new social spaces like Car Meets, designed to strengthen the community and shared aspects of the game. Forza Horizon 6 wants to be not only bigger but also more connected than ever.
