It was one of the most repeated rumors of the last few months and it’s finally a reality. Fortnite Chapter 6 continues to expand its list of collaborations and the next one to arrive is none other than One Punch Man, the popular anime that has conquered millions of fans worldwide. Epic Games has made it official with a promotional image featuring Saitama, the invincible hero.
Fans haven’t taken long to react, and everything points to the fact that he won’t be coming alone. Various leakers have already shown the first images of Tatsumaki and Genos, who will also have their own skins with an anime aesthetic within the game. A collaboration of this level promises to become one of the biggest events of the season.
One Punch Man Skins and Rewards in Fortnite
Epic Games has confirmed that Saitama and the rest of the characters are set to arrive on August 27th. Although it’s not yet clear if it will only include items available in the store or if it will include free challenges and rewards, what we do know is that the collaboration will also extend to Rocket League, with several decorations inspired by the protagonists of One Punch Man.
If that weren’t enough, this alliance coincides with another major addition: the Gorillaz are the stars of the new season of Fortnite Festival, with exclusive skins based on the iconic virtual band. A move that reinforces Epic Games’ commitment to keeping their game as a constantly evolving cultural space.
