Good news for veteran players of the popular Epic Games title Fortnite. In recent days, the studio has implemented a silent update that improves the amount of free V-Bucks that can be earned daily, along with some adjustments to the game’s internal economy.
This change mainly affects the Save the World mode, which still offers exclusive rewards for users considered “Founders“, i.e., those who purchased the title in its early years. The new system aims to balance missions, adapt them to recent store standards, and offer greater incentives to those who remain active in this classic mode.
More daily V-Bucks and improved alerts in Fortnite
- In Fortnite Save the World, daily missions now reward 100 V-Bucks instead of 80, representing a direct 25% increase in the amount of free currency available. Additionally, temporary alerts, which previously offered variable rewards depending on the map area (25, 30, 35, or 40 V-Bucks), are now unified with a fixed value of 50 V-Bucks per mission.
This means that consistent players will be able to accumulate more coins without needing to spend real money, which is especially useful for acquiring cosmetics, battle passes, or event packages. The change also simplifies progression and eliminates regional inequalities on the map, making the system more predictable and balanced.
Although it’s not a massive update, this adjustment represents a direct benefit for the most loyal players, who will see their daily earnings increase and be able to plan their purchases more efficiently.
