Xbox players are gearing up to embark on a space horror experience that promises tension, mystery, and an 80s ambiance that won’t go unnoticed. Unveiled during the ID@Xbox Fall Showcase, this new title from Raw Fury recaptures the essence of the most oppressive survival horror games, but set in a forgotten lunar station that bears a resemblance to the brutal Alien Isolation.
The project has been in development for several years and, after its latest appearance at Microsoft’s indie event, now has a definitive release date and confirmation of its direct arrival on Xbox Game Pass.
Routine will arrive on December 4th on Xbox Game Pass
Developed by Lunar Software, Routine is set in a retro-futuristic version of the 80s, where the player explores the dark corridors of an abandoned lunar base. Armed with only the C.A.T. (Cosmonaut Assistance Tool), they must decipher messages, interact with terminals, and avoid the mechanical entities that patrol the station.
The title bets on an immersive atmosphere and environmental oppression reminiscent of Alien: Isolation, combining exploration, stealth, and psychological horror. Additionally, it will arrive on Xbox Game Pass from day one, on both Xbox Series consoles and PC, making it a must-see for fans of the genre.

Its release is scheduled for December 4th, 2025, and everything points to it being one of the last surprises of the year on Microsoft’s subscription service.
