The wait is finally over for many Latin American fans of Resident Evil. After years of requests and rumors, Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village have officially launched with Latin American Spanish dubbing.
We’re thrilled, as this is something that fans of the series have been asking for and eagerly awaiting. The confirmation came directly from Capcom Latin America’s official social media channels, and from now on, players can experience these adventures with voices in their own language, so go ahead and download this update.
A duo with Latin American Spanish dubbing: Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village
This is something we’ve been expecting, although it seemed more like a rumor than a reality. However, Capcom has been increasingly focusing on localizing their most iconic games. Previously, many titles in the franchise only offered Spanish text or dubbing in other languages, but with this move, they’re taking a step forward and making it easier for more players to enjoy the narrative without barriers.
Now we’ll be able to hear Leon, Ethan, and other protagonists speak in Latin American Spanish, which will help to enhance the atmosphere and make each scene feel closer to those who grew up with this language. Additionally, this change opens the door for future installments in the series to consider this option from their release. For now, stay tuned with Generación Xbox for more news about the series.
