ASUS officially unveiled its new ROG Xbox Ally device during the Xbox event last June, although it has not yet confirmed the release date or final price. However, a recent leak may have revealed both prices in Europe ahead of time, and not all users will be happy with what has been seen.
According to information extracted by Google from an ASUS page (shared by 3D Juegos) that has already been removed, the standard ROG Xbox Ally model will cost €599, while the advanced version, ROG Ally X, will reach €899.99. Although this is not an official confirmation, the leaked prices fit within the usual margins for this type of portable device.
Two models, two distinct proposals: this is ROG Xbox Ally
Both versions will run on Windows 11 and offer full compatibility with titles from Xbox Game Pass, Steam, and Epic Games Store, among other digital platforms. The main difference between the two models will be in memory and internal storage:
-
ROG Xbox Ally (€599): 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD
-
ROG Ally X (€899.99): 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD
Both include a 7-inch Full HD screen at 120 Hz, but also present significant differences in terms of processor. While the base model features an AMD Ryzen Z2A, the X version carries the more powerful Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, designed to extract even more performance in demanding games or advanced multitasking.
Prices still to be officially confirmed
Although it is expected that the prices and exact release date will be revealed this summer, ASUS has not yet issued a formal statement about the leak. If the data is correct, ROG Xbox Ally would enter the market to compete with devices like Steam Deck OLED or Lenovo Legion Go, offering a more PC-like experience, but with an Xbox seal on the gaming experience.
We will be keeping an eye on ASUS’s official channels to confirm if these prices hold and when reservations can begin in Europe, including Spain. Everything points to ROG Xbox Ally arriving in late 2025, just in time for the holiday season.
