FATAL FRAME II Remake updated on Xbox Series with improvements, fixes and major adjustments

FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is back with a new update that’s now available on Xbox Series, PS5, and PC. The title continues to refine itself after its launch with a patch that focuses mainly on fixing errors and improving overall stability.

New FATAL FRAME II Remake Update on Xbox Series with Multiple Fixes

The update (version 1.03.03) introduces a long list of fixes that affect both gameplay and technical aspects of the game. Among the most notable changes, we find:

• Fixed an error that prevented recovering the Camera Obscura in Chapter 7
• Corrected several issues in Chapter 4 that blocked Mayu’s progress
• Adjusted doors and events that prevented advancing correctly
• Fixed an error that allowed obtaining free items in the exchange system

Technical Improvements Have Also Been Applied:

• Adjusted motion blur, which now works correctly between different configurations
• Fixed issues in photo mode, where some parameters were not applied correctly
• Fixed statistics and progress, such as the count of special shots
• Improved conditions for unlocking abilities

Additionally, the patch includes general stability improvements, text corrections, and additional minor adjustments that help make the experience more fluid.

Finally, it has been confirmed that this update will also arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 soon, although no specific date has been announced yet. In the meantime, Xbox Series players can download this patch and continue enjoying the game in better conditions.
