The version 1.0.2 of Elden Ring: Nightreign is now available (or should be by today, Saturday, August 2), and among its main novelties, it highlights the Duo mode, a new cooperative modality that allows exploring the Profaned Lands with a partner without needing to form a complete team.
This mode not only adjusts the presence of enemies but also recalibrates the overall difficulty, both in open areas and in boss battles.

The update also includes solutions to errors reported by the community, such as the bug that prevented reviving fallen characters in the rain or failures when executing back attacks with the Revenant class. Additionally, quality of life improvements have been introduced in the interface: merchant descriptions are now clearer, and new sections have been added to the Collections Signboard and the Small Flask Bazaar.
These are some of the most demanded new features that arrive with the update:
-
Duo mode available throughout the Plagaride map
-
Difficulty adjustments for reduced cooperative play
-
Fixes for weather and animation-related errors
-
Improvements in descriptions and secondary menus
-
Improved stability on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC
The patch can be downloaded starting today, Saturday, August 2, and is compatible with all versions of the game. Elden Ring: Nightreign is available on Xbox Series, PS5, and PC, and this update marks an important step for those seeking a more balanced experience in company.
