Xbox will add to its catalog at the end of the month a new terror proposal designed for fans of the classic genre. Ebola Village will arrive on Xbox Series and Xbox One on January 23, 2026, coinciding with its release on other platforms.
The game is directly inspired by the survival horror games of the 90s, bringing that approach to a first-person experience focused on exploration, constant tension, and a disturbing story that unfolds gradually.
Classic terror in first person for Xbox Series and Xbox One
In Ebola Village, we follow Maria, whose quiet night is interrupted by a TV broadcast warning of a biological threat. Concerned about her family, she decides to travel to a remote village, where disturbing events begin to occur, hiding a much darker mystery than it seems.
The experience is designed for single-player and focuses on survival, oppressive atmosphere, and resource management, recovering sensations from classic horror but adapted to a modern format.
On Xbox, the title will be available on both Xbox Series and Xbox One, expanding the offer of horror games in Microsoft’s ecosystem for the start of 2026. Its release on January 23 makes it an option to consider for those seeking an intense and direct experience.
