Electronic Arts has confirmed a new free trial period for Battlefield 6 that will allow any player to download the title and try out a large part of its content without paying. It’s a great opportunity for those who haven’t tried the shooter yet or are thinking of buying it.
During this event, players will be able to access various multiplayer modes and maps from the game. Additionally, all progress made during the trial will be saved, so if you decide to buy the game later, you’ll be able to keep using the unlocked weapons, accessories, and unlocks.
Dates and Content of the Free Battlefield 6 Trial
The free trial will be available from March 17th, 2026, to March 24th, starting at 7:00 PM Spanish mainland time (12:00 PM Mexico City time). During this period, all you need to do is download the corresponding client to access the event’s content.
Among the available experiences, a new special mode called “Twilight” stands out, which introduces nighttime combat where players use night vision goggles.
This mode will include matches of:
-
Team Duel
-
Competitive Team Duel
-
Domination
- All of this on the Base Hagental map, adapted for nighttime combat.
Additionally, within the Total War category, you’ll be able to play classic modes from the series on several maps:
-
Conquest
-
Advance
-
Escalation
- These will be available on the Contaminated, Base Hagental, Eastwood, and Mirak Valley maps.
The event will also include a playlist called Casual Advance, designed for 32-player combat with a more relaxed focus, where bots can even appear to complete matches and facilitate progress in challenges.
During the trial, players will be able to use all previously unlocked weapons and accessories, and any progress made will be retained if you decide to buy Battlefield 6 later. It’s a perfect way to try out the game for several days before deciding whether to add it to your library.
