Some players of Dying Light: The Beast have reported strange glitches after the latest 1.2.1 update, including rain appearing in indoor spaces and an altered day/night cycle that affects the ambiance. Although these issues are not widespread, they have been noticeable enough for Techland to address them.
The studio has confirmed that a solution is already available, but since these errors only occur in very specific situations, additional testing is needed before it can be released. Therefore, the team will spend the weekend and most of Monday checking the patch’s stability.
When will the Dying Light: The Beast patch arrive
If the tests are successful and no further issues are detected, the fix will be released immediately on PC, followed by consoles. However, Techland warns that if more problems arise, the patch will need to be adjusted and the testing process repeated, which could delay its release.
The company wants to thank the community for their patience and assures that their goal is to provide a stable and definitive solution, prioritizing quality over speed to ensure that the experience in Dying Light: The Beast is not compromised.
