The universe of Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero continues to grow. Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft have announced that the acclaimed fighting game will receive a new DLC centered on the Dragon Ball Daima series, which will expand the already massive roster of characters and bring back some of the most powerful warriors in the universe created by Akira Toriyama.
The big surprise of this additional content will be the incorporation of Goku in his Super Saiyan 4 form, one of the transformations most beloved by fans, which until now was not present in the title. Additionally, the package will include six new fighters directly from the Daima anime, along with a significant balance patch that will adjust the combat system.
The Daima DLC will arrive in spring 2026
The announcement was made during the EVO France 2025, where Bandai Namco confirmed that the new content will be available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. This DLC will not only add characters but also bring adjustments to the Z-Reflect combat system and general gameplay improvements, which will be applied previously through a free update scheduled for October 12th.
With this expansion, Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero continues its evolution as one of the most complete and spectacular fighting games of the moment. The combination of speed, visual fidelity, and an increasingly wide roster consolidates it as the modern reference for the Budokai Tenkaichi style in the new generation of consoles.
