The Epic Games Store is changing its tune with its weekly free game promotion. Starting today, January 22, PC players can add a unique game to their library at no cost, featuring an open world, constant satire, and an unexpected twist on a familiar formula.

As usual, the game will be available for a full week and, once claimed, will remain in the account forever. A great excuse to try something different between big-budget releases.
Free today on the Epic Games Store
The game that can be downloaded for free is Rustler (Grand Theft Horse), an action-adventure game in top-down view that brings the classic GTA structure to a deliberately absurd medieval setting.

Promotion schedule

Spain (mainland time): from 5:00 PM today, January 22

Mexico City: from 10:00 AM today, January 22
The promotion will be active until January 29, always at the same time.
In Rustler, we control “The Guy”, a nameless and fameless protagonist who moves through a world filled with peasants, inquisitors, ridiculous tournaments, and not-so-bright guards. The player can follow main and secondary missions or simply dedicate themselves to causing chaos: stealing horses, fighting with swords, using automatic crossbows, or provoking absurd and unexpected situations.
The game stands out for its sense of humor, full of references to popular culture and with a tone that clearly reminds us of Monty Python. All of this is supported by a classic open-world design, with complete freedom to explore villages, cities, and events without a set path.
