Razer continues on its path of offering the best peripherals for gamers, both professionals and casuals. Their new mouse not only follows this line but also brings back one of the company’s most recognized brands and elevates its potential to new heights. Yes, we’re talking about the recently announced DeathAdder V4 Pro, Razer’s new gaming mouse designed for and by elite athletes.
Because if there’s one thing that stands out about this new peripheral, it’s that it was created from scratch, taking into account the opinions and comments of the best players of the moment, such as NiKo, a Counter-Strike legend, or Faker.
Razer takes the next step in gaming mice
The new Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro is the first mouse from the brand to incorporate an optical scrolling wheel. This represents a significant advance in terms of precision and durability for the most demanding players.
In terms of design, the DeathAdder V4 Pro maintains the classic ergonomic style of the DeathAdder family, with a refined aesthetic and finishes in black or white. Its weight is just 56g in the black version and 57g in the white version, making it ideal for prolonged gaming sessions without fatigue. Another detail that stands out about its construction is the separation of the two side buttons. A proposal from various players that has a very clear purpose: to easily differentiate between one and the other by touch, reducing the chances of error when clicking on either of them.
The DeathAdder V4 Pro features the new Razer Focus Pro 45K Gen-2 optical sensor, which offers a resolution of 45,000 DPI, a speed of 900 IPS, and acceleration of up to 85G. This translates into ultra-fine movements without desynchronization, making it ideal for any type of game, although it will be more noticeable in shooters or MOBAs. Additionally, it includes six optical-mechanical switches with an estimated lifespan of 100 million clicks each, and a polling rate that reaches 8,000 Hz for almost instantaneous response.
On the other hand, the device’s autonomy has improved significantly compared to the DeathAdder V3 Pro, reaching up to 150 hours in standard mode and 22 hours with the 8,000 Hz polling rate activated.
The new HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 dongle reduces latency by 37% and improves energy efficiency by 67%, which is a significant advantage for players seeking optimal performance without cables. Additionally, this new dongle adds a series of new features that enhance the player’s experience, as it features an LED lighting system that allows players to know parameters such as battery life, polling rate, and more at all times.
The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro is now available for pre-order for 179.99€ through Razer’s official website.
