We’ve already entered the final stretch of December, and with it, we’re counting down the days to bid farewell to 2025, a year that’s been incredibly eventful in the video game industry, leaving us with incredible gems like Hollow Knight: Silksong or Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG with an absolutely stunning aspect that has taken the GOTY award this year.
We’re on the verge of entering 2026, and in addition to having some launches listed for the coming months, content has also been confirmed for games that have been on the market for a long time, with Dead by Daylight being one of the best examples.
Stranger Things returns to Dead by Daylight in full force
This multiplayer horror game has been with us for several years and has become one of the most played games today, which has led to the arrival of great updates with a lot of new content and even some spin-offs with campaigns.
One of the brands that collaborated with the game was Stranger Things, offering playable characters on both sides and in January, we’ll start the year with a new chapter in this series with Dead by Daylight. This was confirmed with the release of the latest season of the series and with an official trailer of the game, which confirms the addition of Dustin Henderson, one of the most beloved characters, as a new survivor, and it’s possible that Vecna will be added as a new playable villain, although this has not been fully confirmed yet.
Dead by Daylight is one of the multiplayer games that has gained the most relevance in recent years, so it’s no surprise that in 2026 we’ll continue to see this type of event frequently, something we’ll be keeping an eye on.
