CD Projekt RED has detailed all the changes that will arrive with the 2.3 update. This new version of the game not only corrects and improves technical aspects, but also introduces visible and functional changes, mainly focused on driving and vehicles.

In addition to new missions, interface adjustments, and graphical optimizations, this update marks a turning point in the way you move around Night City, incorporating new assistance technologies, automated taxis, and visual improvements to customize cars with more freedom than ever.

All the news of the Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update

• Autodrive and Delamain taxi service: you can now move automatically with any compatible car thanks to the new auto-driving system. You can also call Delamain taxis from anywhere in the city for fast and automated transportation.

• More vehicles and orders to unlock them: new car and motorcycle models have been added, some of which are available through new missions.

• Advanced body customization: more than 200 paint designs and 168 unique patterns have been added, applicable to traffic, which allows you to scan and unlock them for use on your own vehicles. Twintone paint jobs are also expanded to cover almost the entire available range.

• Improved photo mode: new camera and framing options to capture more precise images, especially in driving and action scenes.

• General quality improvements: general adjustments in controls, accessibility, and AI behavior during traffic.

• Optimized technical compatibility:

  • Support for AMD FSR 4 and AMD FSR 3.1 with frame generation

  • Compatibility with Intel XeSS 2.0 and frame generation

  • Support for Intel HDR10+ Gaming

  • Activation of VRR on consoles

• 4 new vehicles with associated missions:

• New AutoDrive system (autopilot).
• Cinematic camera during AutoDrive.
• Delamain taxis available on demand after completing a certain mission.
• CrystalCoat available for more vehicles, including hacked versions.
• Several visual corrections in customized vehicles.

Photo Mode

• 27 new NPCs can be summoned (including fixers and secondary characters).
• Costume change for NPCs and for V.
• New stickers and frames, such as Night City postcards.
• Improvements in focus, filters, color balance, and camera controls.

Quality of life and accessibility

• Automatic detection of inverted mouse buttons.
• Option to toggle auto-aim.

Missions and open world

The Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update has been officially confirmed for July 17, 2025, and will be available from 5:00 PM (Spanish mainland time). According to CD Projekt RED, all Cyberpunk 2077 players will be able to download it without additional cost on Xbox Series, PS5, and PC.
