Cyberpunk 2077 celebrates its fifth anniversary with a special trailer and new official products

Night City turns five years old and CD Projekt RED is celebrating it with a commemorative trailer and a complete collection of official novelties for fans.

Five years after its release, Cyberpunk 2077 experiences a symbolic closure: a journey that began in 2020, which went through complicated months and ended up becoming one of the most solid RPGs of the generation. To commemorate the anniversary, CD Projekt RED has published a special trailer and has launched several initiatives focused on the game’s followers.

The video reviews V’s story among the neons of Night City (renamed for the occasion as “the city of legends”) and recovers great moments from both the main adventure and Phantom Liberty. The montage also conveys that sense of repair that defines the last years of the project: a game that started off on the wrong foot, but was rebuilt through updates and continuous work until it reached the studio’s initial vision.

Along with the trailer, CD Projekt RED has prepared a collection of releases centered on the game’s universe. The most striking one is the 5th-anniversary collector’s set, which includes a lit replica of the Relic biochip, a USB drive with the soundtrack, three holographic tarot cards, and two pins, also available in a combined pack with the Ultimate Edition.

• This edition is joined by the Corsair Arasaka Edition, a line of PC accessories inspired by the game’s corporate style, accompanied by metal plates and posters dedicated to iconic characters like Jackie, Panam, or Adam Smasher. The new Luma Cyber XR glasses have also been launched, the result of a collaboration with Viture and designed as a nod to the technological equipment in the Cyberpunk universe.

In addition, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition has discounts of up to 65% in multiple digital stores, another invitation to return to Night City or discover it for the first time.
