The launch of Crimson Desert is just around the corner, and players can now prepare for its arrival. The pre-download of the game has been activated on consoles, allowing players to install it in advance and start playing as soon as it is unlocked on launch day.
This type of pre-installation is common in major releases, as it avoids long downloads on the day of release. In this case, it’s also a good idea to check available storage, as Pearl Abyss’s new title takes up a considerable amount of space.
Crimson Desert exceeds 100 GB of installation
According to data already available in digital stores, Crimson Desert will have a fairly large size on next-generation consoles.
These are the approximate installation sizes confirmed so far:
- Xbox Series: around 115 GB
- PlayStation 5: 123.38 GB
These figures correspond to the initial game installation, so it’s possible that the size may change slightly with launch patches or future updates.
Pearl Abyss’s new project proposes an action RPG set in an open-world fantasy universe, with intense combat, free exploration, and a very ambitious approach both technically and gameplay-wise.
With pre-downloading now available and the launch set for March 19, interested players can install the game from now on and start their adventure as soon as the title is officially unlocked.
