French studio Don’t Nod returns to space with a proposal that combines survival, exploration, and psychological tension. After several months of silence, the team has shown a new advance of their next work, presented within the ID@Xbox Fall Showcase 2025, where its direct arrival on Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release has also been confirmed.

The studio promises a balance between stealth moments and cinematic action, as well as an atmosphere loaded with details that recreates the feeling of isolation in deep space.

With next-generation technical aspects and a story that invites introspection, Aphelion aims to become one of the most notable titles of 2026.

In Aphelion, players will accompany Ariane and Thomas, two explorers lost on board the ship Hope 01, who must survive in an alien environment full of threats. Don’t Nod describes the game as an experience centered on the relationship between the two protagonists, where the emotional bond will be the key to resisting an environment that shows no mercy.
