Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor launching on Xbox Game Pass
The game deviates from the classic Deep Rock Galactic formula to offer a more direct and arcade-like experience. Instead of teams of four players exploring caves, here the challenge is to resist waves of creatures while powering up abilities, unlocking upgrades, and seeking to survive for as long as possible.
This approach connects directly with the trend of “survivor-like” games, fast-paced action genres that have already succeeded on PC and mobile devices. However, the mining setting, iconic weapons, and visual style of the saga ensure that the essence that has gained so many followers over the years is maintained.
With this release, Ghost Ship demonstrates that it wants to keep the Deep Rock Galactic universe alive beyond the original game, exploring new playable formulas that can attract veterans and those seeking quick and replayable matches.
