The universe of Hellraiser is preparing to make its definitive leap into video games with Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, a new horror title that will soon arrive on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC. The project, developed by Boss Team Games and published by Saber Interactive, has just shown a new video focused on the game’s creative process.
This new development diary titled “Origins” allows us to discover how the team is adapting the universe created by Clive Barker to the interactive format. The video also features the participation of Doug Bradley, the actor who brought the iconic Pinhead to life in the original films.
Hellraiser Revival presents its new development diary
In the video, the developers explain how they have worked to capture the essence of the terror of the Hellraiser saga, taking inspiration not only from the films, but also from the books, comics, and other materials that are part of the franchise.
The studio’s goal has been to recreate the disturbing atmosphere that characterizes the series, transporting the player to the dark universe of the Labyrinth and the plans of the Cenobites.
In Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, players will face a new story within the Hellraiser universe, in which they must venture into the underworld to rescue a loved one trapped in a realm of eternal torment.
During the adventure, it will be necessary to fight against cultists, infernal creatures, and the armies of hell, using both conventional weapons and the supernatural powers of the Genesis Configuration, the famous puzzle box from the saga.

The title is presented as a mix of action and survival horror, with mechanics that allow players to manipulate forces from the Labyrinth while trying to survive the horrors that lurk in that world.
