Oh, I’m a huge fan of Metroidvania games, and with great affection, also of Castlevania games, those titles that take us to worlds filled with threats that we overcome with our skills. About a year ago, I mentioned it from this place, that the saga was about to return soon.

The surprise has been impressive when I found out that precisely a new title is on its way, one that will feature the lineage of the great vampire hunters, the Belmonts. In this way, Castlevania Belmont’s Curse has been announced, and it will arrive on Xbox.

Castlevania Belmont’s Curse is the true star of the week, as a new installment is set to launch in 2026 on Xbox. Another detail is that it will continue the timeline of Castlevania Dracula’s Curse, with its events taking place 23 years later, featuring a new heroine and plenty of essence from the saga.
