Square Enix has surprised us today with the arrival of one of its most acclaimed projects in recent years. It’s a title that combines the best of classic role-playing with a unique artistic style in HD-2D, and it’s now available to play on Xbox from this very moment. An unexpected addition that further strengthens the presence of JRPGs on the platform.
The game transports us to a world marked by power struggles, difficult decisions, and a complex turn-based combat system, reminiscent of classics in the tactical genre but with a modern and spectacular visual finish. The proposal aims to capture both fans of strategic role-playing and those who enjoy deep stories with multiple branches.
Triangle Strategy arrives on Xbox with all its original content
The story takes place on the continent of Norselia, a territory ravaged by conflicts such as the Great Ferrosalina War, where control of salt and iron was disputed. The delicate balance between the Sacra Sede of Dunálgida, the Archiduchy of Fraguahelada, and the Kingdom of Glaucoburgo is broken after a new incident triggers a chain of events that will put the player at the center of the most important decisions.
In Triangle Strategy, every decision counts: your convictions will be forged through three values —Pragmatism, Morality, and Freedom— that will influence the course of the story, the allies who will join your cause, and the multiple possible endings. All this accompanied by a tactical turn-based combat system, where placement on the terrain, synergies between characters, and exploitation of the environment are fundamental to victory.
