Bombshell: The Division 2 announces Survivors and more details of Resurgence, for iOS and Android

Gamescom 2025 has served as the stage to learn about the future of the The Division franchise. Ubisoft dedicated part of its panels to discussing the new experience coming to The Division 2 and the advancements of its mobile offering. The community was once again the star, both in in-person meetings and in the live broadcast.

Developers have emphasized that the saga will continue to evolve with the involvement of players. In fact, the new content for The Division 2 and the development of Resurgence are presented as projects built with the active collaboration of their community.

The Division 2 Survivors and the leap to mobile with Resurgence

The big announcement has been The Division 2: Survivors, a mode that recovers the essence of survival and takes it to the terrain of extraction within the game itself. The project is in its early stages, under the creative direction of Magnus Jansén, a veteran of the saga since the first title. Ubisoft has promised to maintain open communication with players throughout the development process.
