Over the past few hours, one of the most well-known horror game leakers, AestheticGamer (Dusk Golem), has once again set off alarms about Silent Hill 2 Remake. According to the insider, Bloober Team is already finalizing preparations to announce the Xbox versions of the highly anticipated remake of Konami’s classic.
In a recent post, Dusk Golem commented that “it should already be clear that Bloober Team is preparing to reveal the Xbox versions of Silent Hill 2 Remake“, while also hinting at other parallel moves by the company.
Silent Hill 2 Remake for Xbox alongside the Born From a Wish DLC
- The insider also suggests that Konami plans to coordinate announcements with the release of the Return to Silent Hill movie, based on the events of the second game. According to him, the PS5 Pro patch and the “Born From a Wish” DLC (an expansion inspired by the original extra content of Silent Hill 2: Director’s Cut) would be part of the same batch of news that would include the game’s arrival on Xbox Series.
These statements coincide with another recent detail: Bloober Team’s official website was updated to add two new platform spaces, which would reinforce the theory that the Xbox and possibly Switch 2 versions are close to being announced, as we reported yesterday.
For now, Konami has not made any official comments, but the timing would fit with the pre-release promotion strategy and the end of the fiscal year. If everything is confirmed, Silent Hill 2 Remake could expand its reach beyond PlayStation and PC very soon.
