Xbox players are counting down the days until the release of Black Myth: Wukong, the acclaimed action RPG from Game Science that will debut on Microsoft’s console on August 20th. After months of waiting and with pre-orders open for weeks, the title is preparing to land in the midst of Gamescom season, generating even more excitement.
Now, achievement hunters have an extra reason to smile: the Xbox Series version will feature a total of 81 unlockable achievements, 45 more than the PS5 edition. This number is close to the list of achievements we already knew on Steam, offering a broader and more varied challenge for those who want to complete the game at 100%.
More incentives to play on Xbox Series
In addition to the title’s technical and visual appeal, these extra achievements are an added incentive for those who enjoy exploring every nook and overcoming all the challenges that the adventure inspired by the legend of the Monkey King proposes. With spectacular combat, large-scale scenarios, and possible surprises like a future DLC set underwater, Black Myth: Wukong promises to be one of the most powerful releases of the year on Xbox after waiting a year for its arrival.
Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG inspired by Chinese mythology. The story is based on “Journey to the West”, one of the four great classic novels of Chinese literature. You will play as the Predestined, who must embark on a journey full of dangers and wonders to discover the hidden truth about a glorious legend from the past.
The studio has not yet detailed the complete list of achievements, so players will have to wait until the release to discover all the objectives that await them. What is clear is that the Xbox version is shaping up to be the most complete and challenging to date.
