The early access to the open beta of Battlefield 6 has already begun for those who pre-ordered the game or obtained it through Twitch Drops, and it’s generating a massive influx of players. The numbers are so high that some users have encountered queues that exceed 270,000 players waiting to access the servers.

Electronic Arts has confirmed that this is the largest open beta ever conducted for the saga, and they’re monitoring the situation in real-time. Although the servers remain stable, the company has activated a queue system as a control measure to ensure a smooth experience, especially during peak hours with high traffic.
The open beta of Battlefield 6 now has a free access date for all players
The company has informed through social media that the development team is actively working to reduce wait times and appreciates the community’s patience and enthusiasm. Although the test is currently only available to those who have pre-ordered the game or obtained a promotional code, free access for all players will open in two additional phases:
-
From August 9th to 10th, open beta without restrictions for all players.
-
From August 14th to 17th, second phase of testing for all.
EA has also reminded that, although the game may introduce bots in case of matches with few players, the interest is being so high that it hasn’t been necessary to activate this feature so far. In this context, it’s expected that the number of concurrent players during the next few days will increase even more, especially when general access is unlocked.
