Battlefield 6 and Game Pass: when its arrival to the catalog could take place

Battlefield 6 has been on the market for several months now, and although it was available to play for free for a limited time of one week, it still doesn’t offer the classic 10-hour trial linked to EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This situation is starting to raise some eyebrows, considering the time that has passed since its release.

It’s common for big Electronic Arts titles to get this limited access relatively soon, even if the game has had temporary promotions open to the general public. However, in this case, the general free trial did arrive… but the specific one for Game Pass is still nowhere to be found.

EA allowed free play, but not through Xbox Game Pass

During that promotional week, any player could access Battlefield 6 without a subscription, which led to speculation that it would soon be available on EA Play. However, after the event, the game went back to being inaccessible, and it didn’t appear in the EA Play trial catalog, neither from the console nor from the Xbox Store.

• This leaves Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers in a curious position: those who didn’t try it during the free week are still without an official way to access the game before buying it, despite the title having already passed its launch window and having had open promotions.

For now, Electronic Arts hasn’t clarified whether this absence is temporary or a change in strategy with Battlefield 6. Meanwhile, the game continues to receive active support, with multiplayer, campaign, and additional modes like REDSEC, but without a trace of the usual early access for Game Pass.
