Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows has already surpassed 5 million players, solidifying a strong launch that aligns with the company’s expectations. The game, available for weeks, has connected with the community thanks to its feudal Japan setting and the dual playable characters, Naoe and Yasuke.
The publisher has also highlighted how the experience continues to grow through constant updates. The most recent one has been the Parkour Update, which introduces new interactions for both protagonists and has received a very positive reception from players.
The Claws of Awaji expansion will add over 10 hours of content to Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Looking ahead to the coming months, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will continue to expand with new content. The most notable addition will be Claws of Awaji, an expansion scheduled for the second fiscal quarter, just before the holiday season.
This new chapter will include over 10 hours of additional gameplay, along with a brand-new weapon, new abilities and techniques to further deepen the development of both characters. All of this aims to enrich the overall gaming experience and consolidate its mid-term potential.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available on Xbox Series, PS5, and PC, and with this expansion on the way, it seems that Naoe and Yasuke’s journey still has a lot to offer.
