Ubisoft has confirmed that its upcoming free content won’t be limited to a story expansion. Just days before its release, the studio has detailed deep gameplay improvements, from new movements to difficulty adjustments, offering a more complete and fluid experience.
Among the most notable changes is the ability to replay missions through the Animus sequences, which now add additional challenges and secondary objectives. The update also introduces free jump as an independent movement, a feature highly requested since the original launch.

The patch will add a modern control mode with smoother animations and an improved camera. Additionally, difficulty options will be expanded to five levels: Apprentice, Assassin, Hardened Assassin, Master Assassin, and Ultimate Assassin, catering to all playstyles.
-
New main mission and new assassination objectives.
-
Secondary contracts and optional challenges, with exclusive rewards.
-
Ability to play the lute in specific locations by finding hidden sheet music through parkour challenges.
-
Redesigned “black box” missions, with new twists for the series.
New tools and abilities will also arrive, such as explosive knives, piercing darts, and smoke bombs, allowing for more freedom in planning each mission. These improvements bring Assassin’s Creed Mirage closer to the gameplay evolution expected in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, reinforcing the future direction Ubisoft wants for the series.
